Founder & CEO Dr. Register is the Founder and C.E.O. of Register Partners. He is the firms practice leader in rheumatology, pain management, sexual health and biologics, He holds a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology and a master’s degree in molecular genetics and microbiology. He has an extensive scientific and corporate business background, developed over the course of a 30-year career that covers the spectrum from the laboratory bench top to the executive suite. His scientific career began in 1983 at SIBIA (Salk Institute Biotechnology Industrial Associates), in San Diego California. In 1986, Dr. Register moved to Merck Laboratories in West Point, PA, where he worked as a scientist for 17 of his 19 years. In 2002, he transitioned to the Merck sales and marketing division as a medical science liaison for the south central US. In 2004, he left Merck to assume a global corporate role at Bayer HealthCare. As a core member of the Global Analgesics Strategic Business Unit (SBU), he developed global healthcare professional marketing strategies and managed international Key Opinion Leaders, scientific advisory boards, and symposia. From 2007 to 2010, Dr. Register founded and served as C.E.O. of Trusgen, a company that focused on outsourcing biologics into Asia. His true passion however, is establishing relationships with people and building teams, all of which naturally led him to launch Register Consulting & Executive Search Dr. Register has published in multiple therapeutic areas and presented at national and international meetings. |
